Derek-Jones is an Ivorian Gospel music artist of Ghanaian origin.
Born in Ivory Coast, Derek-Jones connected very late with his country of origin Ghana from which he nevertheless keeps some influences. He lives in Côte d'Ivoire and grew up in a family strongly committed to God's service in the Church. It is in this ecosystem that is very supportive of the gospel but also of music that it will take its first steps in faith and in music. He started with the drums and percussion, then the bass guitar and later, the piano. But his favorite instrument is undoubtedly his voice.
